Child immunisation schedule has been updated!

The Ministry of Health has updated the National Immunisation Programme by replacing the 5-in1 vaccine with the new 6-in-1 vaccine.

Previously, the 5-in-1 or pentavalent vaccine for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and Haemophilus influenzae type B (DTaP-IPV/Hib) was given to infants at age 2 months, 3 months, 5 months and 18 months.

The new 6-in-1 or hexavalent vaccine will also include Hepatitis B vaccine (which was given separately before this) in addition to the other (DTaP-IPV-HepB-Hib) and will be administered at the same age.Download here: PP Vaccination chart 2020_eng.
